Sage Case Study

In the summer of 2008, Port-P managed a ‘deliver to desk’ solution for computers in Sage’s UK offices, making pricing bids directly with the manufacturer to drive costs down.

We also arranged for all of Sage’s new desktop computers and notebooks to have images and asset tags (for security) applied to them prior to delivery, saving time and resources. This solution was a major success: within two weeks of Sage’s original order, more than 900 desktops and 260 notebooks were ready for them.

Sage now uses the Port-P website to buy everyday consumables. We build and test products such as servers before delivering them to the company, eliminating possible hitches and ensuring their projects run to schedule.
