Our Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Introduction
Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights and it’s a deprivation of a person’s liberty by another to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. In our organisation we are committed to maintaining our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking.
Organisational structure
We are an IT re-seller supplying bespoke IT solutions and products either on-premise or in the cloud, to businesses within the UK. The company has an annual turnover which is not more than £36m.
Our supply chain
We buy our products through distribution companies who in turn purchase the products from manufacturers and other supply channels.
Our policies on slavery and human trafficking
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our business and supply chain. Our company values include acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.
Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk:
· We check whether our distributors have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes
· We have zero-tolerance policy for modern slavery and we expect our supply chain to act the same
· We ensure our staff are aware of our stances on modern slavery and human trafficking
Supplier adherence to our values
We expect all our suppliers to comply with our values.
Training
The Port-P Directors and staff members have been briefed on the subject.
Our effectiveness in combating slavery and human trafficking
We use the following key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective we have been to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains:
· Checking our supply chain understands the importance of complying with modern anti-slavery and human trafficking policies
· Monitoring staff awareness of this matter
